I have a book on the fundamentals of poetry writing so I'm aware of most of this already but it's great that you put it up there, since not everyone will have what I have access to haha. Good article.

Good article, though, if you could, edit the symbols in the article.

Yet again another fountain of wisdom for the new up and coming poet. Fundamentals are all very well if you want to be a Poet Laureate or the Head of English at a University or you are just a perfectionist. I say 'Sod Them' if they interfere with your poetry writing. Not all of us went to a Top school or University as long as you like what you have produced on a page or PC who cares, after all there is such a thing as poetic license. Yet what you have written will certainly help those that want it and I agree with Be My Escape, it does need editing. Ray S

Sadly I have no control of editing it, and so are the mods...

Good way to put it. It's also a very quick guide for most of the poets that are just starting out.
The characters really ruin it to be honest with you. I feel the article is good, but the special characters really ruin the reading experience for anyone who reads it.
Also, interesting way of putting things, poetry is a mystery that is very true. I just have to wonder though, if it's a mystery why did you try to provide an explination later for it *rubs his chin deep in thought :D* haha.
Anyways, good write kiddo. Look forward to your next one.

I believe there is a lot of truth in your speech but i would have added that poetry is not the same as prose. Sometimes prose might sound poetic but i do not particularly appreciate poetry which sounds like prose. This happens far too many times. Then we should call those abortions of poetry novels, news letters, stories, whatever but not poetry. I feel the same about songs which sound like some one talking, it s boring. Songs should sing!
