My name is Mabel and I'm an
nineteen-year-old Spanish girl.
I've already been in this website
for a couple of years, but I still
feel there's much more I need to
improve when writing, especially
because of the fact that English is
not my mother-tongue language.


Why do
I write? To let things out. I write
what I need to cry out- the true
feelings inside that cannot be
heard or shown, the ones we hide
from this noisy world and which
accompany us through the path of
life. Sometimes crying just isn't
enough, and then, you find poetry.


About my work,
I'm not looking for the perfect
poem, that is too subjective to be
possible, but I effort to
illustrate with my words exactly
what I'm feeling. That is why my
poetry may not rhyme, have the
proper words or be grammatically
correct. The only essential will
always be the feeling.


Anyway, I'll love to know
what you think about my work and
I'll really appreciate constructive
comments about how to improve or
about any errors that you might
