Hello,
I am a 29-year-old mother of 3: stepson 10, daughter 5 and an infant boy 5 months. I came across this site by accident, and I am so happy that I did! I have always written poems, ever since I was a little girl. I actually never new that I was writing poems at the time, but after coming across my childhood mementos, recently, I realized that was exactly what I was doing. Growing up in a dysfunctional family, writing was the only way I new how to make myself feel better. I just figured that by putting my horrible ugly feelings on paper, I was getting rid of them.
Well, I am all grown up now and still using writing as my outlet, and after reading the poems in this site, I realize that I am not alone.
