I could analogize it with someone whos trying to break free... into the world of its own... to feel free ... breaking all the barriers...

I know how women in some parts of this world are being treated and you portrayed the anguish of a woman in despair so vividly..how she would chose death over falling into the hands of her oppressors..how sad, dear lady.....I wonder if we will ever truly be seen as equal human beings and have the same rights as men in every part of this world.

Meena, this is excellent. Suspense builds and your words create such a vivid image of that woman in the room, then jumping. Best I have read in a long while. Gets a nomination from me.

This was full of suspense not only because of how this was written but the format of it as well. A very powerful poem full of emotion. I really enjoyed this, it was something different full of imagery and well worth the read. (: Well done!

It's so heart breaking when someone is so determined to take their own life, and refuse any help to pull them from that abyss. You have captured this so poignantly here. I unfortunately was there when someone commited suicide when I was in college. I will never forget that sad moment.
