This is a great poem by you and though, it is a rather sad one it's an enthralling write.
The rhyming is spot on and I feel the fluency in the piece makes it a lot easier for the reader to read.

It's never an easy thing to discover that your spouse is having an affair. In fact, it is one of the most helpless, despondent feelings I feel one can go through in life, shy of being told you have a terminal illness.

Your poem captures the angst and bitterness of such a betrayal quite well.
