Earthen burial

by Finalgravedigger

Crushed and surrounded by the brittles of earth
Gasping drastically as dirt kills a soul's birth,
Nailing a way to the free man's land
With erased and bloody fingers to carry his plan.

Inching on a fool's road ceaselessly shaking with hope
Yearning with a heroes will against gravel bonded ropes
Alone in a caved world that could instantly collapse
Bearing on a path where humanity reaches relapse.

Unable to see with granite choking his eyes
Simply crawling upward with bare feet that cry,
Questions of the surface dwelling fills his mind
Awaits him though is something no one should find.

Breaking the surface only to see chaotic hell
His fiery spirit crumples in reality's well
Mother earth contained this good soul for a reason
Living with mortals is the punishment of this treason.
