I Almost Ate Him

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Sep 9, 2011

A summer's breeze over blew me
A strand of hair detaches from my dark brown build
I am awakened to prepare to feed
I breathe heavily but stand very still
My prey stands alone in the dark forest
Lost and oblivious to my malicious plan
At first, I was attempting to resist
But my mouth became watery from this man
A dark blue hoodie over his head
A tall, muscular frame, but he was no match
I saw a deer but why not instead
Have fun having his head detached
From behind my bushy green hideaway
I watch closely as the boy capture his surroundings
His heart pumping, I just can't explain
How hastily my heart was pounding
Preparing myself to leap from the bushes
My claws ready to pounce, teeth ready to devour
The boy turned around and I grimaced
Walked out from the bushes, exposing my power
"How did you know I was watching," I ask
My eyes changing from hazel to brown and back again
He slowly took off the hoodie; an abrupt gasp
Then smile, for he was my boyfriend
