Dream of lies

by Jawwad Zafar   Nov 19, 2013

I had a dream, a dream of lies
A vision of hollow, the treacherous life
I saw the sun, to rise from west
Moon radiating, like azure crest

I saw sinners to rue their birth
Feeling their beautiful past, as curse
I saw the dead, rising from every nation
Devil pleading, crying for salvation

I saw pegged mountains, taking a stroll
Trees shading leaves, before the fall
I saw pale seasons, to harshly change
Rainfall of blood, being estrange

I saw people smoking gunpowder
Craving death, painful and louder
I saw people with tongue like rattle snake
The owls in parliament, with long rake

I saw the angels, descending from sky
Brutal armies of saints, on a standby
I had a glimpse, the catastrophic confusion
It was the Armageddon, the forged delusion.
