My Thoughts would be Galaxies

by Everlasting   Apr 5, 2014

Oh dear, if you could read my mind,
my thoughts would be galaxies lost in the universe,
Your eyes would be spacecrafts
traveling in light years just to find them.

but you won't find them.

They lurk in black holes:
In regions of space-time where not even light escapes.

though, if you must...

then defy gravity and set them free, or at least find them
and become - along with me, a prisoner to my secrets.

Lucero ,going through this piece makes me wonder at your writing skills :
'thoughts would be galaxies lost in the universe'

    'eyes would be spacecrafts...'

Our mind is as vast as the universe and our thoughts galaxies .

Wonderful write ,feel like reading again and again

I love this poem not only for the fact that it is well written, made me think...actually made me feel lost in your words, lost in your thoughts... But also for the fact that you used universe in this and I love space. :-P and also for the fact that

I truly love this piece.I easily understood and Loved the first paragraph... Truthfully I love the way you describe your mind and thoughts. These words are indeed your thoughts and really, just like the way you said... I was lost in your galaxies which are lost in universe.

Just like the way you say this someone that although they will try to travel your mind they will be lost in it... I was lost trying to understand these words, understand these thoughts . But nonetheless I absolutely loved it.

Oh did I mention I'm putting this in my favorite's ;-)
And also the fact that i wrote all of this on the basis of my understanding of the first half of the poem only :-P

Not sure this would be restricted to a writers mind. I am so glad we cannot read other peoples minds. There would be a lot of hurt and mad people walking the face of the earth. Each of us has secrets that should remain that way, yet you can almost see others gazing into your eyes as if they can see those secrets. Good work.

I could picture someone trying his/her best to look deep into the writer's world, to understand the writer yet only the writer knows no matter how deep one looks or searches it will be eternity. Touching write.
