The Butterfly Effect

by Leanne Henry   Apr 7, 2014

I lay here cradling my mosaic heart, untwinned in your palms.
My naked body and mind no longer intertwined,
A fated dualistic death.
I gave myself to you unwittingly, unknowingly, punishingly...

Sensual, seductive emotions ravenously race through my every pore,
One last butterfly kiss, wanting evermore.
My heart decadently dances with perpetual palpitations.
Memories of my wounded heart, are all but lost in translation.

My body, I give onto you; an offering to the gods.
Supernatural sorcerer enticing, enchanting me.
Siren, temptress of the purist sea,
A kiss of death, no bullets left.

Our amour a simple gift to Hades.
Relationship ruination given to the grave dark angel.
No turning back.
There is no saviour.

There will be no resurrection!

Only rebirth
