Xylophobia

by Jack Nightengale   Aug 22, 2014

WARNING: This is a terror core poem. The contents of this poem are not meant for the weak of heart or mind.

Xylophobia is the fear of wooden objects or forest

A weekend with friends, a weekend to be free,
No more living behind four walls for me,
A weekend out in town was what i thought it would be.

I asked for an adventure and got just that,
I packed my summer clothes, including my hat,
They said we were going camping and my pants i shat.
Packed in the car and stuck in the middle,
I laughed it off and they looked like i told them a riddle.

Trapped in a forest my biggest fear,
From my eye rolled a single tear.
As nightfall came the trees started to make a sound,
I heard them moving as the roots came from out of the ground.
No one else is out here to hear my cry,
Surrounded by trees at least no one will see me die..

You know, I had never heard of that fear. You taught me something new..

This terror core is awesome, I love the Style of it.

This particular one did give me chills. To be stuck without any help ? No no. I loved it though :) good job
