The Beast

The Beast

Disillusioned in the shadows of darkness,
With an affliction of both terror and pain,
Spellbound without any reason,
Close your eyes and just know their insane...

Stroll in the fog where it is cold in the night,
You can venture to places unknown,
Caught in the cobwebs of terror and doom,
And in the places the Spirits call home...

Entranced by the gloom that fills the night air,
It is thick and it's so hard to breathe,
You begin to hear angry whispers from them,
And in terror you fall to your knees...

Fear absorbs in all the emotions,
Your soul is all they desire,
Mystic by nature in the Spirit world,
And alone in the night they conspire...

They rise from the graves in the final hour,
In the darkness they enter your soul,
The screams from your pain inconclusive,
Now beside you forever they'll stroll....

The stench in their presence is evil,
Smells of fright and fear and decay,
Not even the darkness can hide this,
It is the Spirits that bring you dismay...

They prey on the disillusioned,
The cross bares the Gothic wish,
Rest in peace tonight when you sleep,
When all is done just remember this...

Tales and myths of the rising dead,
Is no longer a nightmarish creed,
You have already entered the places they dwell,
Inside your soul they have planted their seed...

You are forever now one with the Beast,
There is no way to ever turn back,
The Spirits claimed yet another soul,
In the dreams of the Gothic black...

I like how you rhyme your poems.

In this line, I think it's in the first stanza:

Close your eyes and just know their insane...

^ their insane? typo? as in They are they insane?
