I never remarked
This loitering shadow
Skulking behind me

I witnessed it
Howling
weeping
And
Foraging for a key

A voice too enticing
With it's
Seductive plea

Curiosity was dripping
Unleashing this monster
Deep within

Demented and deformed
determined
To reveal its skin

It shattered,
consumed
me,
And drug me to the
ground

The demon was my mirror
In arm and arm
I was bound

It was drenched
In corruption
And alongside I drowned
