The walking dead

by vengi57   Oct 14, 2014

Just something I wrote now... because I don't know why.

Walking Dead

I thought I buried you and covered the tracks
I thought I cut you loose and severed the feelings
I thought I knew all the facts
but it turns out what's dead dead can not be killed

So I walk these streets alone
only to stumble upon the ghost of you
In my memories you live on
Seems we'll never truly be through

The walking dead surround us, no matter where we turn
the embers of love we once knew in our hearts still burn
The walking dead don't leave us, feasting upon my brain
and I know that I'll never again be the same.

I thought I put you six feet under in your grave
I thought I left our past behind
I thought I was no longer a ghoulish slave
but it turns out what's dead can not be killed

So I fight my demons on my own
only to have them come back stronger
In my heart I know I've found
the strenght to go on a little longer.

The walking dead surround us, no matter where we turn
the embers of love we once knew in our hearts still burn
The walking dead don't leave us, feasting upon my brain
and I know that I'll never again be the same.

    Hmmmmmmmmmm nice and very

Death is not a reason of distance, reason of distance is mutual understanding..
Death does not take anybody far from you, only your attitude takes you so far from others.

    nice attempt
