Natural Disaster

by WanderingShade   Nov 9, 2014

My anger set a tremble through my body
As my mind flashes through all the broken promises
That once held me above the clouds.

The earthquake's epicenter is my soul
As it rages through my body
Seeking it's primal release.

It's fissure begins in my heart
As the path of destruction set out
It's only target is you.

A smile creeps across my face
Seeing the devastation my anger wrought
As you lay broken before me.

You remember the day
An earthquake of anger
Created a fissure that tore your world in two.
