Deceipt

by ShadowsEmber   Nov 11, 2014

People see us as an improbable pair.

You with the horns,
but I with the halo.

This is funny you see,
for we have them deceived.

You're the one with the wings,
while my tail is sharp as shards of glass.

What they do not realize,
is our roles are reversed.

You're the angel,
While i am the one who's cursed.

Though I must not be in eternal damnation,

For if I was,

You wouldn't be mine.

This poem is incredibly sweet and heartwarming for a sad piece. The title and the first few sentences i predicted what was going to happen but it was so cute towards the end that it worked out well.

Everyone has a hint of devil, and in a lot of my relationships im depicted as the angel when in fact i do not think i am. Its kinda disturbing :3
