Angelic Raven

by konpreah   Jan 26, 2015

Black burns the sun
in the heroin sky
voids dark as night
in the whites of her eyes
sharp is the thorn
of the scorpion sting
colder than ice
in the darkening vein
sliding beneath
pale fields of skin
my smooth feathered raven
dancing on air
hovering high
in the powdery sky
black winged angel
heart hard as stone
she moans like a ghost
in the pit of my soul
fate in her fingers
braiding her snares
destinies tangled
in strands of her hair
black is the dream
and bleak is the sun
wheeling through space
in the folds of my brain
cracked is the face
in the shards of the mirror
lost is the way
in the dark light of day
higher she takes me
my angelic raven
she flies with my heart
in the grip of her talons
it pounds like a drum
in the heroin sky
the black burning sun
in the pit of her eye
