Twisted Tranquility

by Rob   Apr 11, 2015

The stroll in their Forest is eerie this eve,
It is dark here as the trees block the sun,
You came here for comfort and solitude,
But life as you knew it, is done...

A damp fog rolls in and it is cold now,
You can hear something move high in the trees,
It is like they are trying to warn you,
But you keep going, ignoring their plea's...

In this search for peace and tranquility,
You have this twisted thought in your head,
That no matter how many steps you take,
The walk in the darkness will lead you to death...

It was enchantment that lured you onto the path,
Where the Forest looks peacefully content,
But if you took a close look deep inside,
They are here for your life at any expense...

It is far too late to turn now and run,
Evil lurks when you dared to proceed,
And out of the darkness they begin to appear,
And the fear takes you straight to your knees...

Imminent doom a transgression,
Of all of your terror and hate,
And all that you knew here is gone,
Their bite will ensure you final fate...

The shadows of death are upon you,
There is no way out cause you lied,
You fell to the ground and you bled,
In this Forest of death where you died...
