Dark Imagination

by Rob   Oct 27, 2015

The trees cast the shadows of evil,
And I now know that I should not have come,
Tragically it will all come to end here,
And it is much to late now to run...

Their cries scream panic in darkness,
Here the forest holds black caustic dreams,
Imagination has carved a path through the woods,
Where nothing here is at all what it seems...

An inlet for the gathering of spirits left behind,
The forest is the place where they dance,
The enchanted doom in the darkness of night,
Embellishes the tears of a Gothic Romance...

An evening fog entombs the night sky,
The Ferries tell of the wickedly dead,
As they dance around in the treetops,
They begin to speak inside your head...

They tell you there is no way you are leaving,
At least in the form which you came,
Death is the vengeance of ultimate dreams,
The Ferries arise to their queen to proclaim...

They take up the dance of the demon spawn,
The sky turns to velvet red,
You danced in the forest with the Ferries,
And that is the place where you bled...

The darkness precedes you and your soul turns to dust,
And it from this ash you arise,
The legends you sought in the Gothic World,
Have brought you to your ultimate demise...

And it is over...
