Prince of tortured night

by ben thompson   May 22, 2016

Lost procurement of my soul now owned soundly by the dark.
Accommodating its sadistic thoughts, obtained by tasting it's needful spark.
Splintered and rotted, I've acquired my spot among the worst.
Spirit burning so bad, I swear my soul would surely burst.
Crying tears of the forgotten man, heavy burden I bear.
Slinking into abysmal solitude, wasted in my woeful lair.
Reminiscing to old music of a lost and joyful past.
Broken reminisce of a life never meant to last.
These dreams so cold, bringing focus to missing years.
Wondering how time helped compound all the flaws and fears.
Perched on a wall aligned on this divide of black and white.
Future slipping away as I anguish alone between wrong and right.
A child of the gutter bound of hate and spite.
Now among my place, Prince of tortured night.
