Fallen angel

by Brenda   Jun 19, 2016

She's walked this earth
for many moons now-
cast out
wings burnt off
for misdeeds
she couldn't help but do-
"just having some fun"
she says
"no harm, no foul"
she states with a sly grin
her heart
black as the night
does not see her misdeeds
does not understand
what all the fuss
is about-
unable to feel the pain
she has caused
does not care
when chaos is swirling about
like a dirt devil-
mad at the world
especially mad at her creator
for taking her wings
in the first place-
forcing her to walk
these streets
wreaking havoc
upon whomever strays
into her path....

Your detailed description brought to me the murderous character in one of Agatha's novel, perhaps "Nemesis"...
Intense and dark indeed, great read.

    Thank you for sharing :)

    Hello Brenda

I would love to leave a lengthier comment but my father is due for dinner any minute!
I have just read this through and it is another excellent piece of writing.

Well done, take care and I hope you are well,

Brenda, I'd like to say a huge welcome back I really have missed your presence as I feel many others probably have and you've only been gone a week (lol)

This piece is really well done. I like the whole concept of it. Fantastic imagery. When one has only known hurt etc then they go and create havoc themselves. It makes me think of ' whatever I touch turns to dust.'

    All the best, Em
