Nightmares Continue

Last night again
you appeared
in my dreams
you looked at me and sneered.

"You will always be mine"
you whisper, and you laugh.
I try to run, I try to scream
but its like I'm stuck in this photograph

Fake smile on my face
as I look into the lens.
Eyes dark as night,
staring blankly at the men.

I was young;
too young in fact,
for you to be there with a camera
ready to take a snap.

I finally move
shaking and trembling
Tears start streaming
You look dissembling.

I awake with a start
My pillow is wet
Can't go back to sleep;
beginning to fret.

Why are you back,
the last three nights?
Give me peace again!
Stop giving me a fright!

    Nao, again another enthralling yet saddening write. These kinds of nightmares are here to test us and girl you're doing brilliantly... It's hard to comprehend when these are so vivid though and you wake up believing whoever or whatever is still there.

      It is hard and im trying. I still break down for no reason or look over my shoulder or check all the doors and windows at home.. if you want the back story - i have an old one called why.. it may explain a few things and where i come from
