Superhero

Like Cinderella but with an attitude
I'm busy day to day
I do the laundry, sweep the floors, make sure the bed is made.

I'm wonder woman with a mop
the hulk when vacuuming floors
There's never time to sit and relax, there's always something more.

Dust bunnies attack from the north
Dog hair from the west
But if I had to think about it, they're not my biggest pest.

There's one villain who tracks mud and leaves stuff on all the stairs
I yell, I scream, I stomp my feet, and sometimes pull my hair.

I move like lightening, trying to keep up but it seems he can't be beat
If only I could cage him, my god that would be sweet!

Now I'm sure you're sitting there wondering who this archenemy could be
And why I stay and fight when most others would flee.

I know this story sounds crazy, but I swear to you it's true
I stay and fight because I love him...

Hunny, the enemy is you!
