The Morning After The Night Before

by Jenni Marie   Sep 4, 2014

Gathering my clothes up from the floor,
as I try to slip quietly out of the door
my head is spinning, my throat is dry
and I aint leaving a note goodbye
thank you for your consolation
the night surpassed expectation
excuse me, I seem to have left my bra
though I can't remember in your room or car
but without it, I'm feeling a sudden chill
and I must go get the morning after pill
