Bippity boppity boo

by Dancing Rivers   Jul 20, 2015

Hello dear friend hello old foe!
Bippity boppity boo, I wonder how I know you?
Perhaps you were my mums dear rum
perhaps you were my pops old scum
Bippity boppity boo!

Goodbye my love goodbye to you
I think in our next lives you'll be
my most esteemed enemy.

For who can love eternally,
When love is but a flower that passes by the hour?
I would rather have a gem my dear for gems they form o'er many a year.
Bippity boppity boo!

If only dear child you weren't so wild
if only you'd aspire, to be more polite to see what's in sight
if only you'd stop your day-dreaming!
Oh deary doo oh deary me
it seems to me that we're all a fantasy.

Boppity bippity who...?
