Ice Cube:

by Scott Cole   Jul 23, 2015

I'm just a cold mess
As hard as they come,
You better hurry it up
If you wanna get some.

I don't hang around long
For I'll melt in the floor,
If you take your sweet time
Then I might just disappoint.

If cool heads really prevail
I'm the cream of the crop,
For I'm the coldest thing
And on top is my spot.

I'm a square box in shape
And I'm cube size in form,
But I'll shrink in both ways
If I should start to get warm.

When my main job is done
Then it's time for some fun,
And I'll blend in together
All thanks to the hot sun.

Then I am nothing at all
I'm no shape or no size,
Yet I'm so refreshingly good
I'll bring tears to your eyes.
