A Witty Ditty

by Randy Lee   Oct 24, 2004

I shall try and write a little ditty
To show everyone I can be witty.

The words will just pop into my head,
From there to paper, so to be read.

No social value will be found,
Though I hope to eliminate many a frown.

These lines I hope to make light and airy,
Much the same as the home of a fairy.

Just as that fairy flutters around,
I hope that smiles from these words will abound.

If the words of these lines make but one person smile,
Then I know I have picked the very best style.

If no one should laugh after reading my prose,
Then I know that these words are certainly no Rose.

So laugh if you will, and be full of joy,
For that is the wish of this simple boy.

I didn't smile, but it was sweet. The poem was cool and rhymed well, but sometimes the beat was off. Thats okay though, the whole point the poem was trying to get across was sweet. ~Take care!
