A truly powerful write, my friend...I will nominate this one for you.
In the last line of the first stanza you could replace the word"near"by "there"to make it rhyme.
What I found most endearing is how you said He has a book with our name in it, I gather you mean that in a metaphorical way, saying He loves us all equally?
Lovely verse, Paul...you should be proud of this one!

This is a wonderful poem. It is so good to know that we have his everlasting love.
When the storms of life's struggles blows your way,
and cast a dark Shadow on your perfect day,
fear not my friends don't drown yourself in despair,
just call on Christ Jesus who is always there
This brings such comfort to me when I readit.

This gave me so much inspiration.. To know no matter what happens in this life, I'm always loved. It's so good to know. Thank you for writing this and reminding us all. Jesus Christ is all I need.
