    Cold water.
    Solves all your problems.

Pretty much... Though what if people or sins are like the clothes?

You mean like confession restores your soul to lily whiteness?

Confession is the bleach of moral laundry

Hmm, not like confessions. I don't think confessions are the bleach of moral laundry...

One can confess one too many times and still have that dirty stain in our souls. Repentance, on the other hand, can be a good soap. However, I've been wondering what the bleach really is?

I know, mom, usually let's dirty dirty socks soak in water, with Ariel, for a while, then washes them. Later, if the socks are still greyish, she adds some bleach and washes them again until the socks turn white. But usually, the soaking in water and Ariel does the trick.

Edit: I should probably ask mom again - about the process of cleaning socks. Lol I usually just do the cooking and cleaning the house but not the laundry.

So may be meditation can be the soaking process that helps remove the dirtiness of our souls?

Confessing, helps, but i don't think, confessing is as potent as bleach is for restoring a soul... Or in this case, a dirty white clothe to pure white per se
