From me to You

by Arunansu   Feb 13, 2008

Sometimes when I miss
my early morning bus,
Night stays by me

gazing at a meandering asphalt.

With the first light
nowhere in view,

I feel the increasing weight
of load strapped around
my shoulder.

Impatience flutters.

A cool breeze chills my neck,
as the curtain lifts

slowly,
smearing me with brightness.

Your touch brings clarity,
Your formless being
brings to me
the forms around.

I breathe in
Your stirring smile,

heave a thankful sigh
