Wipe off!

by Arunansu   Mar 24, 2008

Wipers busily make semicircles
of clarity on the windscreen
glare of neon and halogens rush backward

Flashbulbs search the silken road
amidst a crowd of number plates
and rear ends

they tell again
she will leave next day.

She was occupied with her
gray suitcase this morn
and suddenly said, "wish we had wipers
tied to our eyes"

I need none for me
better to put those rubber arms at rest
let me drive in the haze of
shocks, jostles, bumps and skids

let me wipe off the clearness.

Clarity bring more obstacles
than those hitting you

I must buy my sleeping pills
for tomorrow
