A skeleton

by Arunansu   May 26, 2008

One letter-holder
lives by the roadside.

His lid creaks open
everyday, one time.

A hand searches
envelopes. Empty sounds echo.

The lid is then closed, locked.
No one disturbs his day.

I could almost do a study on this poem. It has so many metaphors you could use to explain it. So simple, yet complicated. Good, keep it up.
