The land of olives
Obliterated to a struggle for life.
Lives of old men, women and children.
Constantly defined by strife.

I guess they don't show it on the TV screen.
The infant Palestinian babies who have died.
The media is so biased.
And they always chose a side.

All they show is celebrities.
Who's drunk and who's dating who.
They think Palestine is a land of terrorists.
But of the truth they have no clue.

I am not here to defend the suicide bombers.
They shall not be given my sympathy.
But what about the children, the elders and the women?
Don't they deserve some empathy?

Now you sit in your home.
Comfortably under a roof.
But those people's homes are destroyed.
Just come and see the proof.

Their only weapons are rocks.
Even of self-defense they have been stripped.
I suggest you read your history again.
Because the imperialists played with the script.

So, i guess they don't show it on the media?
The Palestinian babies who have died?
Struck down by Israeli mortar shells
While their mothers and fathers cry.

What a funny world.
Which celebrity is drunk and who's dating who.
That's the point of the media i guess.
But no one really has a clue.
