Thank God I open my heart and invited jesus in.

In vain I had tried for many, many years,
from a sinful life to be set free.
But, not until I surrendered all to Jesus Christ,
that the victory was finally given to me.

I'm sustained every minute of every hour,
by his holy and awesome power.
in Jesus I have no reason to fear,
for he is ever present and, always near.

There are times when I feel that i'm all alone,
he would touch my heart making his presence known.
Taking away the sadness and, lifting me up high,
and wipe away the tears that fall from my eyes.

He is always there when i'm in dire need,
and, on judgment day he promise to intercede.
on my behalf when I stand and face my creator,
My Jesus will be my only vindicator.

He holds my life in his powerful and caring hands,
and by him the rest of my life is well planned.
His love for me is greater than every sin,
I thank God the day I open my heart, and invited Jesus in.
