How could you have noticed me?
My mind must be deceiving
But I swear I saw you glance at me
Right as you were leaving
Not a full blown glare
But not even a quick blink
Something in the middle
That made my heart sink
I stood there plain and boring
It simply couldnâ��t have been me
I blended in real well
Nobody could see
Maybe Iâ��m just crazy
But I swear you looked my way
Even for a moment
The scene continues to replay
I should have run right over
I should have made a sound
I should have forced a smile
But I was frozen to the ground
My mind just drew a blank
But after that I had vowed
I would never, ever be
