A cross of shame.

When the storms of life's struggles blows your way,
and cast a dark Shadow on your perfect day,
fear not my friends don't drown yourself in despair,
just call on Christ Jesus who is always there.

In every instances of your life you can always find,
he is there to bring joy and peace, to your mind,
when the enemy of peace comes to you like a flood,
rest assure that you're protected by his precious blood.

In Jesus there there is no cause for doubts or fears,
when you cease from crying, it's him who dries up your tears,
my friends he has brought this far over the years,
all because he loves you and, for you he truly cares.

In heaven he has a book that contains your name,
he wrote it there, not because you may have wealth or fame,
he wrote it because his name you now proclaim,
as the King of Kings who was nailed to a cross of shame.
