Captains and Criminals

Captains.
All better to the best of men
And their families - all the best deserved.
All the great taste among ghosts - rough in appearance -
But all the great minds left to recollect.
Ghosts who breathe not the taste of other men,
But serve their own skin alike - all the best.
To those who dare share gold; share gold to none.
Be the best, fine, should be the best.

Criminals.
All the worst of truths to the cheats
And their unskilful work dissolved in soil
And sod alike - their truths not so polite.
Those who wish to not but take from the world;
Be it a body or a bracelet, all's well that ends.
Alleluia to the hidden-eyed! Cheats, they achieved.
Soulless - and they'll cheat again,
To be the worst, fine, should be the worst.

I agree with Thomas, this is a interesting subject for a poem. To tell you the truth, I can't really tell if you are comparing the similarities of the two, or contrasting them. When I read this, it sounds like the captains are also being judged with the criminals. I guess it just depends on the way you read it...
