I wish i was a kid again

Sometimes I wish I could be a kid again
So when life gets tough you can just play pretend
I wanna go back to when Santa did exist
When daddy was the only guy you kissed
When Disney world was the best place to be
When the only movies you could see were rated "G"
Your biggest problem was learning to write your name
And people didn't change your friends were the same
And every time you were sad or had a bad day
You could just run to mommy and it would be okay
When the best place to shop was toys r us
When it was so scary to ride a bus
Before your parents gave you the bird and bees talk
When you stopped crawling and finally learned to walk
Before you ever had a broken heart
And the pain of being in love didn't start
I wanna go back to no pain-just laughter
And everyone always lived happily ever after

I really loved your poem. I wish that I could be a child once again too. Life was so easy and pain free, only a kiss would do on the place that hurt. It's really wonderful. Good job!
