He has humbled me.

One act of kindness,
though miniscule,
is sufficient for the
times when I believed
I initiated the mess
in my mind,

and you would desire
no part of it.

But thoughtfulness is a seed
that sprouts in the desert...

and I never knew,
the warmth in my heart
could be multiplied.
