Smoking

Clouds
judgement
kills anger
mellows foul mood
destroys your dental
lines lungs in choking sludge
creates your cancer from scratch
habitual life ending chore
stinking vile breath, yellowing aged skin
dragging your time away from yourself, fun

Why so serious son? This is a great poem to me. Smoking is not a health habit at all. I like the form. Love the lay out. Each line seems to hold a different statement about why smoking is terrible. Almost like a list in a way. Great job with the wording and syllable count. You seemed to push yourself more so than usual. Back to my first little joke. This poem has a very serious tone to it. Almost like a personal message to someone you care about or even yourself. The ending holds such a sarcasm. Using "fun" really throws the reader off in a good way :). Loved that tone. Excellent write.
