    Yes in this world where kindness and compassion is disappearing, we need to learn to reach out to those who need it the most-without looking at color, cast or creed.

    Expand and being there for those in genuine need

    ^ the word genuine is well chosen for this sentence, in my opinion. There are people who cannot distinguish between a need and a want, and in many occasions, they think their wants are their needs. So the word "genuine" places a great emphasis on what a need is and allows the reader to ponder on who really needs help.
