Fighting to believe we are his.

by Poet on the Piano   Feb 3, 2015

Over and over, I reach you:
through the winds, the drifting of snow,
the blaring sirens, the laughter in sorrow,
the silence in sin.

I have kept you here for a reason.
You have not surrendered to the night
completely; I still see you rise and
try to rinse your heart from the shame.

You are beloved because I chose
to die for you. I cover you with my blood,
with my love

and you...

cannot shirk away from my care.

I adore your passion within your spiritual writes. You have elegance and beauty.

When you are penning troubles, you encase them with hope.

This inspires me... we may have different views but both pen the beauty of our spirituality and I can't tell you how beautiful this piece is.

You have light within your poetry.. just lovely!
