That Cross:

by Scott Cole   Feb 6, 2015

Jesus did what he did
And took his place,
Hung on That Cross
For all human race.

Suffered and bleed
For you and me,
Paid our price
To set us free.

Made no excuses
Made no complaints,
Did his father's wish
Never once said I aint.

As he hung there
Ridiculed and shamed,
He did it for us
To save us the pain.

With nails in his body
And thornes on his head,
He showed his love
With the blood he shed.

Forgave all the ones
That did it to him,
Because he knew
It erased all our sins.

A brand new beginning
For all those lost,
And its all because
He hung on That Cross.
