Virus

by Kakera   Feb 9, 2015

They are men, wielding great power,
consuming everything around them
as if it were their birthright,
then moving on to somewhere else

They blur the line between monsters and men
as they devour all the light God left us,
with a suit and necktie their uniform
when they go to wage war

They are those who pay fortunes
to see birds and beasts bleed,
buying billions of lives
so they can consume death

They are not demons, however,
nor are they really monsters.

Their behavioral patterns show us their true nature:
All that mankind will ever be is a narcissistic virus
