Life

by Frank P Cotter   Mar 8, 2015

You stay the course and never waiver
Friends for life get all your favor
Take each day with fire and vigor
Hold the hammer don't trip the trigger
Take the cake when ever offered
A hand outstretched to offer foster
Climb the ladder with hands still able
Grab the ring and follow fable
Life is short don't sit and wonder
A blast of light and crack of thunder
It's over soon when memory lingers
A golden ring slips off your finger
