The Machine is Breaking Down!

The machine is breaking down,
It is ageing and well used,
but still has good years left in it!
It creaks and groans and probably hasn't been looked after the way it should have been!
It is maintained as such, with the basics needed to keep it functioning!
But it is breaking down!

The machine's brain, containing its software, is still as new,
Unlike the machine, it's operating system will run forever,
It's brain runs the same way it always did, with few glitches, which repair themselves!

...but the machine will not run forever ...this is the human condition!

    I like the creativity of this piece.

    It is short, interesting to read, and different to a lot of cliché poems on here which ramble on about the same stuff, I feel this poem has something unique about it.
