Let It Rain

by Eric Ngobeni   Jun 15, 2015

The rain is angry,
It turns a deaf ear.
The sun is hot as volcano,
It is burning everything on earth,
It turns grasses into soil.
Rivers are empty.
Trees are sticks.
Animals are thin as papers.
People are dying like animals.
Christians are praying for their survival,
But God is not answering their prayer.
Sangomas are throwing their divination bones,
But their ancestors are not conveying a message.
Oh, let it rain!
