Birth Lies

We are taught from birth to reach for the stars,
No dream beyond reach no illusion too far
But who's there to catch us and soften the blow
When reality surfaces and truth of life flows?
Don't people realize by perpetuating this game
They bring only sadness, madness, and pain?
Why can't we all be told the truth from the start?
Life is just a cruel delusion of a twisted old fart!
