Butterfly Words

My ears turn themselves off to every sound,
yet the words of your voice flutter in,
flying with angelic wings, landing inside my heart,
gently kissing my soul.

They comfort my fears,
build up my confidence,
and they always restore my hope.

My ears are always listening
to the heart-warming butterflies
you send whispering to them.

    I love the comparison to this persons voice to the butterflies here. I though that was really lovely and cute. It might say the main character is in love and that is why this person touches their soul. OH there is that as well,. Not only their voice touches your heart and soul, but they do as well which really does make it like you are in love with this person. Butterflies and beautiful no doubt and this person to you is a butterfly, touching and heartwarming and just plain beautiful. Not only for their looks on the outside, but for their personality on their inside. beautiful write hon. 5/5

    Oh saffie this is stunning!! I'm very biased towards flutterbys in general so this really made me smile, but the fact that this poem is sort of abstract in a sense lends the imagery to the readers imagination being free to place any loved ones face in his or her mind as they read this touching piece.
