JOURNEY TO SIGNIFICANCE

by Gayle McMillan   Aug 2, 2015

Once I had walked as a blind man
Without purpose, without meaning
A dark place of no importance
My life devoid of being
Struggling for the answers
I met a spiritual guide
Did he ever know how much he`d given?
His wise counsel turned the tide
I learned that we all matter
The value of our importance
We all need to be seen
To learn of our intrinsic worth
We must be appreciated
To be taken notice of
Be accepted, acknowledged
To feel worthy of love
It is the journey to significance
A reflection of the soul
I learned about the quality of being
And I became whole
on the JOURNEY TO SIGNIFICANCE
